a message from our founder

Welcome to MEXROB Capital !

In 2013 I formed MEXROB Capital, following a tradition of excellence set at JPMorgan and Prudential Financial. At JPMorgan, I am proud to have helped many global real investors design and execute their entry strategy for Latin America. At Prudential Financial, I had the good fortune of being the first CEO of PREI Latin America, the Latin America real estate investment and advisory business of Prudential Financial. In that capacity, I was responsible for the Latin America real estate investment plan and its implementation, where we invested more than US$8 billion throughout Latin America, between 2001 and 2012.

Focused on the opportunity to succeed, for nearly two decades, I have helped a wide range of investors successfully invest in the Latin American real estate market. In Mexico alone, our efforts led to: (i) the IPO of Terrafina (TERRA13:MM); (ii) the creation of Mexico's first institutional multifamily investment platform; (iii) a retail platform that, as of September 2012, was one of Mexico's largest owners of shopping centers; and (iv) a residential platform that included more than 350,000 units, setting an industry standard and being consistently recognized for its investment approach and for anticipating industry trends.

Today, MEXROB Capital focuses solely on Mexico. As founder and an owner of MEXROB Capital, it is with great enthusiasm and excitement that I look forward to continuing to participate in the continued growth and institutionalization of the Mexican real estate sector. I believe our experience makes us uniquely qualified to help real estate ventures in Mexico meet their growth objectives, while bringing a clear and refreshing perspective that acts local, but has a global perspective.

In particular, when Mexican real estate ventures are confronted with the decision of choosing a capital partner, I believe MEXROB Capital represents a unique and valuable option. We are not a global company that doesn’t know how to act locally. We are a local company that has a global perspective. We do not drown you with penny-wise, pound-foolish decisions to reduce costs. Instead, we are result driven and recruit and develop leaders who are focused on delivering results. We are not too big or too slow to help you correct problems. Far from that, we are always accountable for our actions, hold our partners accountable for their actions and we focus on solutions. More importantly, we do not have desk accountants or fly-in, fly-out executives making decisions. We are stewards of our shareholder's investments and take our fiduciary responsibility very seriously.
